An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Burns team for a motivated Nursing associate to join our friendly, dynamic team. Our priority is to offer the best standards of holistic care for our patients recovering from a burns injury. The burns ward at QVH is a regional referral unit for patients who have sustained both major and minor burns injuries and includes 6 ward level beds, Burns Outpatients Department, Burns theatre and a 2 bedded rehabilitation unit.

Experience in burns management is not necessary as full training will be given.

As a surgical hospital we provide a service in the following surgical areas

• Major head and neck reconstructive Surgery
• Maxillofacial/Orthognathic/Trauma
• Plastic surgery, including major reconstruction
• Hand Surgery
• Ophthalmics, including complex corneal reconstruction
• Burns for reconstructive surgery
• Trauma
