Senior Transmission Design Engineering Manager

Emplyee owned EPC client seeking an exceptional PE licensed Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead our team in delivering diverse and challenging transmission line design projects. As the Transmission Line Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation and contribute to the rapidly changing infrastructure needs in the energy sector. responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians in delivering transmission line projects.
Manage project execution, including engineering design, material and equipment development, and construction specifications.
Ensure projects are within budget, on schedule, and meet quality requirements.
Support business development, client interactions, project execution, and proposals.

preferred qualifications:

Experience managing EPC or design services overhead transmission line projects for utilities.
Minimum of five years of transmission line design experience with knowledge of layout optimization and major equipment.
Communication skills and client engagement abilities.
Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and relevant standards.
Intermediate knowledge of civil/structural and electrical/controls aspects.
P.E. license preferred.
Familiarity with procurement, contract administration, and proposal processes.

minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Minimum of 8 years of related work experience.
