Our client, a top-rated resort, is seeking a Hotel Manager to oversee the operations of a good size property in the Caribbean. This position reports to the General Manager and is accountable for the overall operation of the resort by participating in the decision-making related to the hotel policy, philosophy, directions, goals and objectives and by taking appropriate action for their implementation as directed.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years in an EAM/Director of Food and Beverage role with a top-quality and luxury resort/hotel property. Resort experience is a must and they would like to hire someone with a current or previous, Caribbean, European, North American, or any other island deluxe resort background in the world.
Oversees the performance of the Food & Beverage Department. Provides guidance and assistance in the execution of their responsibilities and assists them to set their respective departmental objectives under the direction of the General Manager.
Directs and controls all F&B, heads to ensure that all day-to-day operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are met. Oversees the service standards, quality, consistency and presentation in the outlets under his/her responsibility to ensure that they conform to the requisite standards of the resort and meet or exceed customer expectations.
Solid background in operations, facilities and revenue management.
Caribbean/island experience in complex labour jurisdictions would be an asset
Results-oriented must have the ability to conduct a needs assessment, develop and execute corrective action plans
Must be passionate and hands-on about guest engagement and must have the ability to resolve/manage guest issues
Personal Traits, Adaptable, Charismatic, Natural Host, Leader, Team Player, Assertive and a Good Listener
Salary of around $100,000USD base, an accommodation allowance and other excellent company benefits will be offered, plus a bonus,
