We are now looking for a highly driven and motivated Payroll Accountant (Contract) to join our fast-growing regional headquarters.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with payroll run and cost center reporting, including liaising with intercompany and recruitment agencies
  • Review invoices for accuracy in account coding and tax treatment
  • Perform month-end closing activities as needed, such as manual journal entries and assisting the Accounting Team with close inquiries
  • Review, analyze, and respond to internal and external supplier inquiries
  • Prepare monthly analytical reports for management review
  • Perform audit and tax/finance team support
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

Key requirements:

  • Accounting or Finance background
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in payroll function (preferably in MNC, and some audit background)
  • Degree in a relevant field of study
  • Experience at a Global Company is a plus
  • Experience in PRS Payday Payroll software is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud-related ERP systems a plus (SAP, Workday)
  • Able to work with a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
  • Customer Service oriented person who focuses on quality communication and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
  • A forward-looking thinker who can articulate the need for and implement process improvements
  • Fluent in English
