Accountant – Retail

As an Accountant at our retail outlet, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the store. You will play a critical role in monitoring expenses, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Recordkeeping:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the retail outlet.

· Record daily sales transactions, expenses, and other financial transactions in the accounting software.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

· Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments.

· Handle accounts receivable by invoicing customers, tracking outstanding payments, and following up on overdue accounts.

Inventory Management:

· Collaborate with the inventory team to reconcile physical inventory with financial records.

Assist in assessing inventory levels and identifying slow-moving or obsolete items.
