Reporting to the Partnership and Collaboration Coordinator, the agent is responsible for the application of security rules according to the organization’s policies. He/she must at all times maintain complete independence with clients, not intervene in the assistance processes applicable to individual clients but inform management of any behavior contrary to the rules or instructions of management. Ensures security. His main responsibilities are to monitor the different buildings of Welcome Hall Mission. He/she monitors the properties to prevent theft, vandalism and fire, controls access to the facilities, maintains order and enforces regulations according to the organization’s protocols.

Job type :

• Schedule (four days a week): Monday to Sunday 8am-6pm – every other weekend
• Full time (38h per week)
• Contractual employment until March 31, 2024
• Salary: 20$ per hour

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

• Maintain order and intervene where necessary to ensure compliance with the organizationrules and guidelines for staff, visitors, clients and premises
• Ensure the protection of the premises and intervene in case of emergencies
• Monitor intrusion detection systems using automated alarm or video surveillance software
• Control access to the building and inspect clients’ bags
• Observe and report on activities or incidents in the building and update registers
• Write a clear and accurate report
