Market Security Manager

Job description

We are currently looking for a Market Security Manager to join our team who will be a NiM synergy model whereby he/she will assist local management (all business and functions) in providing functional leadership on security matters and coordinates the implementation of the Group Security Program in Turkey.


Responsible for the development, implementation and management of all aspects of security operations, policies and procedures that are appropriate for Nestlé Turkey. This role ensures a safe and secure workplace by working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure procedures are in place protecting the organization’s physical property, its brands, and employees. This leader also serves as the company’s primary liaison with all outside agencies and threat/subject matter experts and specialty vendors on sensitive projects.

Main Responsibilities;

  • Responsible for the market operations threat and risk assessment. Provide cost-effective mitigating solutions
  • Responsible for implementing the Market Security program in Turkey
  • Acts as a consultant at an early planning stage of any new Nestlé Turkey project that may have security implications for his/her operational scopemayhave security implications for his/her operational scope
  • Responsible for the introduction and maintenance of security Guidelines, Standards & best practices throughout the Country as defined within the Group Security Strategy. Priority will be given to the protection of Nestlé’s employees, Nestlé’s reputation, Nestlé’s brands and products, and Nestlé’s property and assets.
  • Proactively assess and notify Nestlé Turkey management of any security, political, environmental or social developments that could impact upon the Group Travel Directives.
  • Provide security education and awareness activities, including leading continuing education efforts for site and enterprise leaders as well as all employees through awareness programs.
  • Continuously and proactively identify opportunities for optimizing security processes and resources through innovative initiatives
  • Contributing to the reduction of operational expenses through security optimization programs, and by encouraging participation in bulk purchasing of services and equipment throughout the region and by sharing available security resources in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Liaise and network with Security Managers in other companies, organizations and government bodies, to ensure that Nestle is able to draw upon the experience and knowledge of others.
  • Contribute in the mitigation of Intellectual Property Rights infringements(Counterfeit) residual high risk via supporting the co-working group established between Security & Legal in investigation plans, facilitating data gathering & raids activities

Qualifications;

  • Minimum 8 to10 years in a similar role within a law enforcement, security / intelligence or enterprise security
  • Experience in UN is preferable
  • Experience in Investigation, threat and risk management
  • Experience in international / multinational work environment is preferable
