Research Intern
As a 4th Pillar research intern, you will be responsible for developing the business cases of the company’s 4th Pillar projects through research and writing. This fun and exciting learning opportunity will be an avenue for you to gain and hone your analytical, business-writing, and communication skills as you work closely with people who are always on the lookout for new ways to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
Conduct desktop research on the industry and market of the assigned 4th Pillar projects
Develop and write the business cases of the assigned projects
Coordinate with the project proponents and teams in the development of the business cases
Assist the project proponents and teams in gathering data through meetings and interviews (if needed)
Coordinate with the core team to deliver updates on the progress of the business cases
Provide additional support to the project and core teams as needed
- The internship would be fully remote. Interns are expected to use their personal laptops/desktops.
College student taking up any communications or business-related major, or any similar course
Functional understanding of how businesses operate. Experience or interest in one of the following areas is preferred (one for each intern):
Weather and Environment
Data Science and Job Platforms
Electric Vehicles and Smart Meters
Excellent research and writing skills
Has good communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and has the willingness to learn
Able to handle multiple projects at the same time
Able to work with minimal supervision
Proficient in using Google Suite (specifically Google Drive, Docs and Sheets)
