Job Description
Group Customer Technology provides technology solutions to our Group Customer division. Reporting to the Manager – Environment and Release Management team, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery and maintenance of a healthy technical ecosystem for the Group Customer organization. This role will be helping to deliver quick technical solutions to Group Customer business teams as well as solutions for complex requirements arising from systems integration of existing legacy technologies and new emerging technologies. Tasks will range widely, from providing expert guidance and solution design to “hands-on” work in support of CI/CD process and DevOps methodologies enablement.
What you will do
- Work with Architects and Business Analysts to contribute to the development of technical solutions that satisfy the requirements for building and enhancing Group Customer Technology’s technology ecosystem.
- Implement solutions needed to build and enhance CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps practices in Group Customer Technology, including:
- Tactically resolve technical issues and deliver solutions for Group Customers.
- Provide feedback on our software development best practices.
- Organize work tasks and coordinate with team members.
What you will bring
- Post-secondary degree in computer science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education, training, and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with tools and processes of CI/CD and DevOps.
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps.
- Experience with understanding technical environments, operations, processes, and practices.
- Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, quality assurance techniques, automated testing practices, design principles, and SDLC/Agile.
- Understanding of non-functional requirements for application scalability, availability, and security.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industry.
