Job Description

The Sector Manager has a perfect knowledge of the market, the players, and agricultural issues with regard to the solar ground opportunities to be developed. He is responsible for generating opportunities/offers in accordance with corporate strategy, client needs, and applicable standards. He is also required to participate actively in indirect support of the service prospecting and development of projects in the agricultural sector.

Your missions

  • Research and identify market developments, and potential markets in the sector in phase with solar opportunities (valuation, technicality, innovation, regulations, PPA…)
  • Manage the targeting process until land security
  • Be on the lookout for developments in the sector to actively support the upstream prospecting and downstream project development departments
  • Analyze the needs of the agricultural sector and define/prioritization of target sectors
  • Identify new business from internal mapping tools, and commercial monitoring, according to field action thanks to the reputation and the progressive constitution of a prescription network
  • Qualify (pre-feasibility) new business in coherence with the targets set by the company, in terms of feasibility and profitability
  • Negotiate and sign (directly or in support), with the owners and operators, the land control agreements necessary for the realization of future projects
  • Guarantee the professional image of the company with a mastered approach to subjects from all sides (customer side and energy field in all its scope)
  • Transversal teamwork in support of prospecting for specific actions and the development of projects until obtaining authorizations for implementation.
  • Follow and control the progress of its development process, its strategy
  • Feed the monitoring dashboards and report regularly by identifying the risks incurred
  • Carry out progress actions and share feedback
  • Manage the risk analysis related to its activities and implementation of the resulting actions
  • Settlement of specific files (disputes, etc.) or transmission to the department concerned
  • Propose corrective actions, report malfunctions

  • Knowledge of the environment and agricultural and forestry actors: business actors, institutions/PAC/CRPF/unions and professional organizations/CUMA/INRA/Chambers of Agriculture/SAFER/Trade fairs/professional issues… vs solar soil opportunities
  • Land, urban planning, construction, environment, ICPE law…
  • Knowledge of the energy market
  • Master IT tools for mail, Internet searches, reports, reporting, GIS…
  • Fluent English
  • Leadership, curiosity, relational ease, listening
  • Spirit of analysis and synthesis, the strength of the proposal
  • Pragmatism, autonomy, rigor, perseverance, and strong adaptability
