Full Job Description
The Platform product organization at Syncron is a vital org that delivers platform solutions that are used by our products to deliver best in class value to our customers. The work we do are critical in nature and is more often in evolving technology space to provide the desired efficiency and experience to our product teams.
As a member of the Platform Product Management team, you will be required to wear many hats and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Internally, the team is responsible for representing the voice of our Product Engineering teams, but also for balancing priorities with business needs across multiple products.
This is a multi-faceted role where strong knowledge of the cloud engineering, technology and analytics is a must. Besides a rock-solid work ethic and a strong team-oriented personality, members of our team display creativity, passion, and a desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting technology landscape.
Responsibilities include:
- Support Product Managers directly on all core and critical team efforts. Candidates are expected to own and drive multiple independent and collaborative efforts to completion.
- Support workstreams such as next-generation product spec and offering definitions, service and maintenance topics, and more. Candidates are expected to perform market and customer research, present trade-offs and opportunities, and drive conclusive decisions with key technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to modernize systems.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Performing requirements analysis.
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Working closely with stakeholders and managerial staff.
- Performing user acceptance testing.
- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
- Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
What You’ll Bring
- Currently pursuing an MBA, Engineering; top-tier academic background in problem solving /solutioning.
- Interest in cross-functional work spanning technical, functional, operational, and a strong desire to develop a deep understanding of customer and market requirements. While previous experience in product management is not required, a strong academic understanding of technical topics and an interest in operations/strategy is required.
- Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills. Must have outstanding verbal and writing skills.
- Ability to work with people at all levels of an organisation.
- Love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
