Position Summary with Job Responsibilities
BER handles Auto / Non-Auto Block or Independent Unit Independently and reports to DGM – ER. He/She is a single point of contact for all bargainable employees’ issues of the respective Block, in order to ensure smooth functioning and maintenance of good relations with employees and Union Representatives of his / her Block. Maintaining healthy employee relations to enable for smooth and hassle-free production process, no man-days lost due to IR issues – are some of the key deliverables of the role. The role requires to ensure harmonious Industrial Relations by working with Union representatives, Factory Management, and workmen.
Work with Cx Owners and Factory Managers for driving Improvement Initiatives, kaizen activities and improvements in the plant efficiencies.
Facilitate for Implementation of various motivational schemes for operators like Man of the month, Man of the year, Exemplary award, quality function.
Participate in ER- DWM to ensure achievement of stated objectives
Responsible for counselling of employees, conducting enquiries and taking disciplinary actions in consultation with DGM- ER whenever required
Responsible for maintaining the discipline in respective block/factory; Grievance resolution of workforce including Temp,NEEM, Contractual and trainees. Implement various initiatives to improve fairness and create awareness on employee physical and emotional wellness
Implement ER practices in his /Her area as derived through Plant -ER and Corp-ER inputs
Actively involves in the Plant productivity by establishing required work environment
Implement and maintain skill mapping of operators with the help of Training Cell and respective CX owners for suitable development / deployment.
Create awareness and alignment to corporate policies like TCOC, POSH, Whistler Blower Policy, etc
Facilitate and implement TMWS, WCQ – PI Piller and related audits for productivity and Product Quality improvement and sustenance.
Facilitate for Safe working by involvement in Safety initiatives and respective BBT’s.
Administratively support Canteen Facility in his / her Block.
Facilitate Various Meetings Like IRC,Skip level and Business Communications and implement the concern raised.
Work with Central ER for various events like Long service, LTS,Bonus , Best ER Practices Benchmarking, Data collection,ERMIS and Union Election from time to time.
Facilitate for maintaining health of Factories thru Surprise Audits and control mechanism.
Pro-actively work towards absenteeism control during Vacations and Festive Seasons
Understand Union Dynamics and acts accordingly.
Own and facilitate Legal Compliance related to CVBU Pimpri and Chinchwad Foundry
Grievance handling for all bargainable employees
Ensuring Maintenance of Internal Discipline
Providing Motivation for Bargainable Employees
Liasisoning with Employees, Union Leaders, Line Managers & Factory Heads
Liasioning with Govt Authorities and Labour Commissioner office and Factory Management
Post Graduate in HR
Post Graduate in Human Resources / Master in Personal Management
05 – 07 years of hands on Experience in Medium to large size Automotive Company in ER.
Good exposure of working with Internal / External Union
