Job Description
Nest-In of Tata Steel is building a world-class organization to cater to the new and advanced materials requirement in multiple industry segments. To align with the overall objective of the business to meet long & short-term objectives by understanding the existing and future needs of the customers. Currently looking for quality engineering professional to manage multiple infrastructure projects across India
- Verifying the implementation and operation of quality assurance and control, by planning and conducting internal audits and inspection activities at projects.
- Verifying that the company quality policy is fully understood, implemented, operated, and maintained at Project Sites.
- Ensure implementation and continuous improvement in all quality systems.
- Ensure that all contractual & company requirements for quality/health and safety (HSE) requirements are complied with.
- Review, update, and control, the distribution of the Quality Management Procedure, Quality Manual, and related procedures for infrastructure, MEP, Civil, and other solution, and execution partners.
- Generate project-specific quality plans for Civil and Infra projects.
- Ensure adequate training/awareness of company personnel for the Quality Management System.
- Prepare where necessary statistical data which will show quality trends for Management Review Meeting.
- Ensure that all non-conformance issues are promptly investigated, corrective and preventive actions are proposed/implemented, and are quickly closed out.
- Ensure that the contractual quality requirements of a project are fully communicated to all the key personnel so that their roles in fulfilling these requirements are fully understood.
- Ensure all the Contractors’ quality systems and plans are acceptable to the company as applicable to the project contract.
- Ensure that Contractors’ / Supplier quality systems are implemented and effective.
- Ensure that the calibration of all the inspection, management, and test equipment is conducted according to the defined schedule.
- Conduct reviews of their approved suppliers and Contractors List.
- Liaise with the client quality representative, to ensure that the potential and actual quality issues are fully resolved.
Relevant Exp- Experience in QA / Site execution quality/finishing items experience / Quality Control for PEB & Industrial Construction (Preferable).
Incumbent having prior experience in QA/QC Understanding of AutoCAD drawing (Preferable). Experience in handling UTM should have the experience understanding various ISO/IS standards for construction (Preferable)
