Substitute Teacher
New Heights School and Learning Services is a not-for-profit K-12 School for families with children, youth, and young adults with a diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum, or with similar learning challenges. We are a play-based program that utilizes the strengths and interests of each student to address social-emotional and academic goals.
Vision: A community dedicated to pioneering a bright future for individuals on the autism spectrum to live independent, confident, and purposeful lives.
Mission: Preparing our kids for the community, and the community for our kids.
New Heights School is currently seeking substitute Teachers (hourly/on-call) to complete our substitute roster for the school year.
Qualifications:
- An active Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Experience working with neurodivergent children and youth
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to be self-directed, flexible, highly motivated and to work effectively in a team environment
- Availability during school hours on school days
