The Role

Barker Ross is currently looking for a machine operative to work in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

They are the only company in the UK that has AWM machines and the automatic EXTRA so there is no skilled labor out there on the market. Some basic understanding of machines would be beneficial but not essential as training in-house will be delivered by our experienced operatives as they shadow the new starters until safe and competent enough to be left alone below are the attributes required.

Your main duties as machine operative, mesh machine, troubleshooting

We also looking for some welders

We also have several different positions available for both skilled and unskilled workers and would like to help you find the right role to fit you and our client’s needs.

These roles are starting immediately and will be temporary to permanent work for the right candidate(s).

• Must be willing to work a three-shift pattern Monday to Friday as and when required.
• Must be willing to do overtime in the week when required.
• Must be willing to do some weekend work as overtime when required.
• Be able to understand written English on the display screens.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Be physically fit as there is a lot of manual handling required.
