Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the General Services Office (GSO), US Embassy, New Delhi. The incumbent will be required to manage and administer the Property & Supplies (P&S) service agreements and oversee 40+ Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for procuring various materials and services for make-readies and for non-expendable and expendable supplies. The incumbent will perform the duties of a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and monitor these contracts and agreements. S/he will maintain an updated activity log of Non-Expendable Warehouse operations and schedule My Services requests from customers.
The incumbent serves as the GSO P&S Help Desk, answering general questions and providing status updates on requests. S/he will directly interact with American officers and their family members to inform them of the status of their requests with GSO Property. S/he will be responsible for coordinating between various GSO Property units to ensure all project deadlines are met. S/he will assist the Property Supervisor with compilation of various reports for the Assistant General Services Officer (A/GSO) as needed. The incumbent also assists the A/GSO by maintaining their calendar, arranging appointments, and taking phone calls and working in the Property Management section. The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the GSO/Property Supervisor and will assist the Property Supervisor in arranging disposal sale events and annual physical inventories for the entire post. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE: This position requires two years of customer service experience dealing with internal and external clients.

This position requires successful completion of university degree in Commerce, Science, Arts, Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA), or Bachelor’s in Computer Application (BCA).

Level 4 (Fluent) in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required. This may be tested.
