Press Officer

This role requires a well-organized and motivated individual who will be responsible for the development and execution of innovative, highly creative, and first-class communications strategies for the Giorgio Armani Prive’, Giorgio Armani, and Armani Casa lines. They will be the key contact for daily press enquiries and ensure ongoing positive and seamless relations with the UK media and creative industries. The Armani work environment is fast-paced, and we are looking for a self-starter with strong initiative, ownership, and creativity.

The Press Officer role:

• To utilise and develop creative routes to maximise press coverage and product placement
• To write and edit various communication materials, including briefings, press releases, and blogs
• Responding to inbound press queries, managing press lists, and distributing press releases
• Oversee sample send-outs to maximise editorial success
• Maintain and distribute press clippings and monthly reports
• Support all brand initiatives across events, VIP, marketing, and retail
• To build and maintain relationships with print, radio, TV, and online contacts and a vast collection of influencers and creatives
• To assist the Communications Director and PR Manager with analysis and any required tasks
• Ensure up-to-date training for all the team on stock control systems
• Expert in Fashion GPS and will be taught internal systems for stock control
• Oversee seasonal sample buys and the correct management of these

Requirements

• Previous experience in the same role in mandatory
• Enthusiastic, self-confident, and self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written)
• Ability to organise self and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to engage in-depth industry contacts and knowledge.
• Mature and focused with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent eye for detail
• Creative and flexible approach
