Warehouse Specialist

As the Warehouse Specialist with Hilti, you will play an important role in ensuring our Spare Parts supply warehouse operates with optimum precision and efficiency, helping to fulfill orders and prepare them for shipment.

What does the role involve?

In this role, you will assist with all shipping, receiving, and inventory organization operations. These operations include; helping to efficiently carryout all product loading and unloading tasks, scanning and tracking incoming and outgoing orders, receiving and processing new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents, inspecting receivables for defects, damages, or missing items and properly scanning and inventory incoming goods.

In addition, you will be required to move and transfer products between various sections of warehouse as needed. This includes using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts etc. to transfer and deliver goods, performing detailed manual inventory counts, labelling warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval and stacking, shelving, and staging items for storage and shipment as necessary.

Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring all tools and equipment are kept clean and in working order and reporting any equipment malfunctions or issues to upper management. You will follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) while ensuring you and the team are always adhering to health and safety rules and regulations.

What you need is:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
• At least 2 years of previous warehouse experience
• Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training
• Able to work long hours on one’s feet and perform physically demanding tasks
• Familiar with common warehouse tools and equipment
• Thorough, alert, and detail-oriented individual who is dependable and responsible
• Strong work ethic and comfortable working independently
• Proficiency in English – written and verbal
• Strong computer literacy
