About GlowRoad:

“GlowRoad is a social commerce platform that allows sellers to sell their products to end customers via resellers in over 20,000 pin codes across 2,000 locations. Resellers, who are often housewives, temporary workers, or students, help the company target Tier II and III markets. GlowRoad has been recently acquired by Amazon. We target to grow 50x in the next 3 years. This is a unique opportunity to build for Bharat and be part of the rocket ship.”

Key job responsibilities

• Understand products and services offered by GlowRoad services and be able to articulate its functions and benefits to sellers
• New seller acquisition across categories from assigned locations, ensure the entire selection is listed at the best price, and establish long-term partnerships
• Define and identify potential sellers and industry verticals. Lead generation and convert new sellers on GlowRoad
• Identify & analyze the client’s requirements & propose solutions for growth and building good relationships. Training sellers on all services being offered
• Drive new product launches, sourcing new catalogs, and ensure the availability of a wide variety of products across categories from assigned location
• Building deep market understanding
• Achieve seller launch, selection, and seller acquisition targets
• Work closely with cross-functional operations teams to streamline processes and assist sellers in becoming self-reliant

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Com/BBA or equivalent degree required. A master’s or MBA is a plus
• 2-5 years of field experience in the e-commerce industry in new sellers/brands acquisition

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior field experience in working with top enterprise/high growth startups from assigned location
• Experience in large deal negotiations with a successful track record
• Ability to navigate across manufacturers and wholesalers by visiting key markets of assigned locations and good market understanding
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience handling and acquiring fashion, home, kitchen, and accessories category sellers
• Experience with e-commerce, social commerce, or retail would be an advantage
