Justice UU Lalit sworn-in as 49th CJI, seeks blessings from family elders

Justice Uday Umesh Lalit was confirmed as the 49th Chief Justice of India (CJI) on Saturday. He has regulated the pledge by President Droupadi Murmu

CJI Lalit will demit office on November 8 after achieving 65 years, as the convention says that an appointed authority should resign at 65 years old.
